Q: How do I join the waitlist?
A: Please click on the link at the bottom of his page. Once that form is submitted, you have been placed on our waitlist.

Q: When should I join the waitlist?
A: Now. Our waitlist is quite long. Families who join early increase their chance of being offered a spot.

Q: How long is the waitlist and where am I on it?
A: Our waitlist is usually comprised of about 200 families. We typically enroll 4 to 6 new students every year. Though we could tell you your exact number on the waitlist, it may not accurately represent your likelihood of enrollment.

Q: How do you decide who to enroll?
A: It’s complicated. We strive to create diverse, inclusive classroom cohorts in which all students thrive. To accomplish this, we consider a variety of factors before extending enrollment offers. Those factors include age eligibility, proximity to the school, length of time on the waitlist, child care scheduling needs, sibling enrollment, and alignment with school values.

Q: When will a spot be available?
A: In general, spaces become available at Pando when current students move onto Kindergarten over the course of the summer. We begin extending offers to families on our waitlist in March. It is extremely rare for a spot to become available mid-year.

Q: When can I come for a tour?
A: Individual tours are only available to families who are currently considering an official enrollment offer. We hold occasional open houses for prospective families and announce those events via email to everyone on our waitlist.

Interested families should submit a waitlist application, but please bear in mind that given the number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide individualized responses to everyone. We will be in touch via email should an opening become available.
