Most of our time at Pando is spent in play. Play provides the ideal context for children and teachers to pursue long term studies thoughtfully designed to stay close to children’s thinking. The projects children co-create with educators inspire Pando’s culture long after the individual’s who participating in these projects have moved on. Below is just a small sampling of the amazing work our teachers and students accomplish together.
Making Sense of Music (2025)
In the fall of 2025, children explored all things sound, culminating in a display of their artwork at a concert by the ABQ Philharmonic
Writer’s Project (2022)
In 2021, children took a deep dive into all things storytelling. Their year-long exploration of book-making in the studio explored the magic of narrative.
